Veteran's Day - Delaware
The Dauntless Battalion participated in the wreath laying ceremony at the Delaware County Veteran's Memorial in Newtown Square at 0830 hrs. At precisely 11/11/11, the Dauntless cadets laid a wreath at the Widener Flagpole and then participated in a Veteran's 100th Birthday Party at noon. Afterwards at 1400 hrs, they visited with the Maris Grove Veteran's Club.
Events of 11 Nov 2021 went great. Dauntless Battalion cadets did the three events. The wreath laying at the Delaware County Veteran's Memorial; the wreath laying on campus at the Old Main flagpole; and greater WWII veterans including one who turned 100 years old. Dauntless Battalion cadets met from Band of Brothers Wild Bill’s son.
