This 79th B'day, I awoke dreading going into the 47 degree morning to campaign for the local school board election. Then I remembered two of my ancestors who enlisted in the 2d NY Militia Regt. in Albany, New York Colony in June/July 1775. They spent many Birthdays in discomfort for our good cause. It gave me heart to perform this day of service. Int was a lot of fun and was followed by a good meal with a long time work friend. I felt good all weekend.
Hey Reb! Happy Birthday. Remember the time one Summer in your red convertible we were driving looking for a parking place w/a couple girls? We triggered a DEA type stop. LEA first thought we were hauling narcotics? They got mad and confiscated your 12 pack in the trunk?

Hi Richard. Than you for the Greeting in 2021. I felt badly that I didn't know how to respond. I felt especially so since we had hung together at Infantry Officer Basicin 1969; just talked a bit at a reunion right after your divorce. Then, after all these years you reach out and I couldn't figure out o=how to answer. May a offer my sincere apologies.
Frank was reported today, 12/19/22, as dying this month. I was saddened because we'd been friends as cadets and we'd talked once at a reunion. By evening, Frank let all of us know in our PMC Zoom Pod that the infamous rumor of his demise was greatly exaggerated.. That's a relief. I'm looking forward to hear him sound off on the topic he suggested we talk about this month.

During our monthly Zoom call, Classmate Dennis Dixon gave us a "Heads Up" that the Dauntless Battalion has a 'Paint the Cannon' fundraiser with a goal of $1,000 for cannon maintenance. As a Battery Robinette member for my first three years @ PMC, I felt a lot of joy at contributing to this, recalling me cadet hours spent shining items for the old museum.

Jack;
I’m so glad we encountered one another at the Homecoming game a few years ago and got to reconnect as two old roomers and Fraters. YITB
Rich;
I remember us hanging out in IOBC @ Ft Benning. Rah! I also remember your first wife's wonderful Italian meals. They were such a wonderful respite from the food available to a 2LT in Olson Hall w/o wheels.
